Do you know why TV advertising is so successful? It’s because once we’ve viewed a commercial a couple of times when we talk about the company or product being advertised we “forget” that we saw the ad and instead say, “a friend told me…”
And, now the TV ad has played it’s crucial role in moving from an ad to a personal referral. This is great if you have $100’s of thousands of dollars to spend on TV advertising.
I don’t. Yet. So, I really do rely on word of mouth advertising.
